A new specialist and impartial mortgage advice and lending service to help buyers from start to finish has been launched in Edinburgh.
Exchange Mortgages work within Cornerstone Asset Management, one of Scotland’s leading wealth management and financial planning firms, to offer expert, tailored and impartial advice taking buyers from buy-to-let to those looking to step onto the property ladder for the first time and those looking to move up it.
Exchange Mortgages offers a highly experienced and dedicated team that’s committed to finding the right mortgages out there, and as part of the Mortgage Advice Bureau network, they have access to more than 90 lenders and 11,000 mortgage products and can source specialist products you won’t find on the high street.
This ensures that existing clients of Cornerstone as well as potential clients will always get the right deal for them, whether they’re looking to make the first step onto the property ladder, re-mortgage or interested in buy-to-let. If an existing buy-to-let owner, Exchange Mortgages will also help the client refinance to facilitate further property purchases.
Clients of Exchange Mortgages can also benefit from added value services such as wealth management and financial planning (through Cornerstone Asset Management) and advice on family, home and income protection. A number of core services include an evaluation of personal circumstances and financial affairs to determine how much clients can afford to borrow.
Paul Allan, Mortgage and Protection Adviser for Exchange Mortgages, a leading financial planner with in-depth market knowledge and expertise, said:
“The mortgage process can be daunting and complex and our Exchange Mortgage business can benefit from an independent tailored and personal service assessing over 11,000 mortgage offers from over 90 UK lenders to find the right deal for our clients.
“We can also offer our clients the additional benefit of specialist financial expertise and advice on family, home and income protection matters so that they are fully covered against the unexpected.”
Mr Allan added:
“We believe in building long term relationships with our clients to ensure they are kept informed of any developments and are delighted to be able to deliver exclusive mortgage advice for Cornerstone’s existing clients and potential to ensure that their mortgage product continues to remain competitive and cost effective.”
